St. Norbert Blanked By Falcons

DE PERE - St. Norbert College got 24 shots on goal but dropped a 3-0 decision to Concordia University Wisconsin in the first game of a two-game Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series at Resch Olympic Pavilion.

The Green Knights outshot the Falcons 13-5 in the first period but the frame ended with no score. Concordia got a pair of goals in the second period from Allison McElwee and Sarah Pearson, with Pearson adding another marker in the third period for the game's final score.

Concordia outshot St. Norbert 26-24. The Falcons were 0-for-4 on the power play, while the Green Knights were 0-for-3.

Anais Aurard made 23 saves for the Green Knights, while Breanna Thomson made 24 stops for Concordia.
