Goal Flurry Does in Green Knights

DE PERE - St. Norbert College couldn't recover from surrendering three goals in a 37-second stretch in the second period as the Green Knights fell 5-0 to Concordia University Wisconsin in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
Following a scoreless first period, the Falcons scored four times in the second period. Emily Godwin scored a power-play marker at 4:42 of the frame. Concordia gained separation moments later, with Ally Hull scoring at 6:48, Madi Chapman at 7:01 and Natasha Wanless at 7:25.
Concordia scored its final goal when Hull finished a power-play chance at 14:52 of the third period.
St. Norbert outshot Concordia 27-26, but Falcons' goaltender Breanna Thomson made 27 saves for the shutout. Anais Aurard made nine saves in 27:01 for the Green Knights, while Evi Johnson made 12 stops in relief.
The Green Knights were 0-for-5 on the power play, while the Falcons were 2-for-4.
