St. Norbert Drops Pair to NAIA Foes

LA CROSSE - St. Norbert College lost a pair of matches to NAIA opposition at the Viterbo University Triangular at Beggs Gym.

The Green Knights opened with a 3-0 loss to Viterbo by scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-18, and followed with a 3-0 loss to Dordt University by scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-21.

St. Norbert was led against Viterbo by Josh Hauke and Jake Krueger, who had six kills apiece. Ben Rinella totaled 12 assists, while Eddie Pacula added seven assists. Hauke and Sean Loughney had three blocks apiece. Brent Hatfield had a team-high six digs.

Against Dordt, Hauke finished with a team-high 11 kills. Pacula totaled 13 assists. Hauke and Jake Bettag had two blocks apiece, while Henry Christensen had a team-high five digs.
