St. Norbert Battles Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College skated roughly even with Lake Forest College but eventually dropped a 4-1 decision in the second game of a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association series at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.
The Green Knights were outshot by the Foresters by a slim 29-26 margin but Lake Forest took control by taking a 3-0 lead early in the second period.
Jordan Tripp scored at 3:39 and Makenzie Kamm at 18:09 of the first period for the Foresters, followed by a goal from Marissa Gebauer at 1:41 of the period. The Green Knights got back into the game with a delayed-penalty, extra-attacker goal by Hannah Hickman at 13:07. It was Hickman's third goal of the season, with assists going to Libby Barbato and Lauren Arnholt.
Lake Forest's Maddie Davis put the game away with an unassisted goal at 12:47.
Anais Aurard made 25 saves for St. Norbert, while Jacque Rogers made 25 saves for Lake Forest. The Green Knights were 0-for-5 on the power play, while the Foresters were 0-for-4.
