Late Goal Sends Edgewood Past St. Norbert

DE PERE - Jerrid Dokey's goal inside nine minutes remaining lifted visiting Edgewood College to a 2-1 win over St. Norbert College in a non-conference match at Minahan Stadium Complex.

Dokey converted a turnover in the St. Norbert defensive end off an assist from Andy Witek for the game's decisive score at 81 minutes 14 seconds.

Edgewood (7-2-2) scored the game's first goal when Andriy Apetrey scored at 25:46. St. Norbert (7-3) answered quickly when Adam Sanchez scored his fifth goal of the year off an assist from Ben Vanden Avond at 28:30.

St. Norbert outshot Edgewood 12-5 and also had the edge in corner kicks at 6-4. Shane Sullivan had three saves for Edgewood, while Joe Schwartz had two saves for the Green Knights.
