Green Knights Place Fourth at Wisconsin Private College Championship

KENOSHA - The St. Norbert College women's swimming and diving team posted a fourth-place finish at the Wisconsin Private College Championship held at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center at the campus of Carthage College.

The Green Knights registered 55 points for a fourth-place finish. Carthage won the meet with 331 points, followed by Lawrence with 133 and Ripon with 69. St. Norbert finished ahead of Carroll, Beloit and Marquette.

St. Norbert had its best showing in the 100-yard backstroke. Stef Klepfer placed third with a time of 1:05.70, while Bre Heil placed sixth with a time of 1:07.60. Klepfer added a third-place finish in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:21.30.

The Green Knights' 200-yard freestyle relay team placed second, compiling a time of 1:48.78.

Other top-eight showings were Meghan Wood fourth in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 19:39.50. Additionally, Heil placed seventh in the 50 freestyle with a time of 26.62, Klepfer was seventh in the 400 IM at 5:26.34, Stacy Hlavach was seventh in the 100 freestyle at 58.83 and Natalie Walsh was eighth in the 200 breaststroke at 2:53.40.
