DE PERE - Two Edgewood College goals less than one minute apart midway through the second half proved to be the difference as the visiting Eagles topped St. Norbert College 2-1 in a non-conference game at Minahan Stadium Complex.

Following a scoreless first half, Edgewood broke into the scoring column when Kelsey Beck scored unassisted at 68 minutes 12 seconds. Abby Moder followed 57 seconds later with her 11th goal of the year for a 2-0 Eagles lead.

St. Norbert answered at 73:43 on Caitlin Carrigan's first goal of the season off an assist from Stephanie Gatyas. The Green Knights had a couple of quality scoring chances in the final 15 minutes but couldn't tie the game.

St. Norbert outshot Edgewood 13-7 and held a commanding 12-1 edge in corner kick opportunities. Edgewood's Ilana Bar-av made three saves, while St. Norbert's Cara Tazioli made one save.
