St. Norbert Places Second at Wisconsin Private College Invite

RIPON - St. Norbert College placed second out of 12 teams competing at the Wisconsin Private College Championships hosted at Ripon College.

The host Red Hawks won the meet with 37 points, with the Green Knights in the runner-up spot with 63 points. St. Norbert finished eight points ahead of third-place Concordia.

St. Norbert was led by a fifth-place showing by Aaron Roden, who finished with a time of 26 minutes 17 seconds. Jon O'Brien was sixth, also with a time of 26:17.

Alex DeVillers placed 14th with a time of 27:09, while John Barrett was 15th with a time of 27:18. Benji Wetli rounded out St. Norbert's scorers with a 23rd-place finish in a time of 27:53.

Kory Baker placed 26th and Matt Leser 30th to round out St. Norbert's top seven with times of 28:06 and 28:18, respectively.
