St. Norbert Drops Pair

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College lost both ends of a men's tennis triangular when it fell to Augustana College and the College of St. Scholastica at Western Racquet.

The Green Knights lost both dual matches by an 8-1 score to fall to 1-2 on the season.

St. Norbert picked up a win at No. 2 doubles against Augustana, with Ryan Kerswill and Eric Koppmann beating Rafael Romero and Andy McCarter 9-8 (10-8).

The Green Knights' lone win against St. Scholastica came at No. 2 singles. Chris Schmitz outlasted Scott Hawley in a three-set marathon, winning 7-5, 1-6, 10-5. St. Norbert's other three-set match against the Saints came at No. 6 singles, where Ryan Lobeck fell to Alex Rogers 5-7, 6-2, 10-6.
