Grzesk Named Co-Region Coach of the Year by NABC

DE PERE - St. Norbert College men's basketball coach Gary Grzesk has been named Co-Midwest Region Coach of the Year by the National Association of Basketball Coaches.

Grzesk, who captured his first regional coaching honor with the nod, shared the award with Carthage College's Bosko Djurickovic.

Grzesk led St. Norbert to a record-setting season with a 23-4 record and a second-round appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Green Knights won the Midwest Conference regular-season and tournament titles and were ranked as high as No. 9 in the D3hoops.com Top 25.

In four seasons at St. Norbert, Grzesk has compiled a 64-33 record. The Green Knights have won 53 of their last 68 games.
