Three Earn USCHO.com All-America Mention, Two Named to All-Rookie Team

DE PERE - Three St. Norbert College hockey players have earned mention on the U.S. College Hockey Online All-America team, while two more Green Knight skaters earned All-Rookie accolades.

Junior goaltender B.J. O'Brien and junior defenseman Nick Tabisz earned first-team All-America honors, while senior defenseman Sam Tikka was an honorable mention choice. Freshman defenseman Justin Favreau and freshman forward Cody Keefer were named to the All-Rookie team.

O'Brien finished the year with a 24-3-3 record with a 1.61 goals against average and .927 save percentage. O'Brien made a NCAA Division III Tournament-record 70 saves in a 2-1 double overtime loss to Norwich in the national championship game.

Tabisz skated in 30 games, scoring eight goals and with 16 assists for 24 points. Tabisz has 77 points in 89 career games.

Tikka also skated in 30 games, scoring three goals and four assists for seven points. Two of Tikka's goals this season came at the Division III Frozen Four. Tikka finished with 33 points in 107 career games.

Favreau played in 28 games, scoring two goals and nine assists for 11 points. Keefer played in all 31 games and tallied 13 goals and 13 assists for 26 points.
