DE PERE - Collette Ullmer's walk-off home run to end the first game of a Midwest Conference doubleheader pushed St. Norbert College to a sweep of Lawrence University at Mel Nicks Field.

Ullmer's towering drive to left field was the only run in the 1-0 opener. St. Norbert (22-6, 12-0 MWC) scored 11 runs in the first inning of the nightcap en route to a 12-1 win. The Green Knights tied a school record for wins, matching the 22-13 mark set in 2001. St. Norbert is now 17-1 since a 5-5 start to the season.

St. Norbert's Kayla Krueger and Lawrence's Shannon Murray locked up in a classic pitcher's duel. The Vikings (13-11, 5-5) did not get a runner past second base. The Green Knights got one runner to third base in the first six innings, but had just two hits before Ullmer's home run.

Krueger finished with a three-hitter and recorded her fifth shutout of the year. Krueger did not walk a batter and struck out seven. Murray also spun a three-hitter and walked one with five strikeouts.

St. Norbert scored 11 runs on 10 hits with three Lawrence errors in the first inning to take command of the nightcap. Ullmer hit a two-run double for a 4-0 lead. Brittany Narges had two RBI singles in the inning, while Tracy Palmer and Ullmer each had one.

The Green Knights pounded out 14 hits in the game. Ullmer was 3-for-3 with four RBIs, while Palmer was 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Narges was 2-for-2, while Brieanne Oehlke and Stephanie Ortiz were each 2-for-4. Oehlke scored three runs.

Kari Corbeille allowed four hits with one walk and five strikeouts to improve to 7-3 on the season.
