Gobert, Schneider Provisionally Qualify for NCAA Outdoor Meet

HILLSDALE, Mich. - Juniors Jordan Gobert and Dann Schneider both provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championship with strong showings at Hillsdale College's Gina Relays.

Gobert totaled 6,089 points to place second to Central Michigan University's Josh Kettlewell (6,522 points) in the decathlon. Gobert fared well in a pair of field events, placing second in the javelin throw (154 feet, 8 inches) and pole vault (14-1 1/4).

Schneider provisionally qualified in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.34 seconds, which placed fourth. Schneider also finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.19 seconds.

St. Norbert also competed at the Marquette Twilight in Milwaukee against primarily Division I competition. The Green Knights' lone top-three individual finisher at the meet was Mackenzie Laska, who won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:17.97.
