St. Norbert Finishes Seventh at MWC Championsip

ROCKFORD, Ill. - St. Norbert College wrapped up the 2010 men's golf season with a seventh-place showing at the Midwest Conference Championship at Aldeen Golf Club.

Monmouth College won the 54-hole event with a 934, while Carroll University was runner-up 22 strokes back at 956. St. Norbert's 1010 was eight strokes behind sixth-place Ripon College's 1002. Monmouth's Rodney Clayton was the conference champion with a 228.

Gabe Dahl was St. Norbert's highest finisher in a tie for fourth at 234. Dahl had an opening-round 82 followed by a pair of 76s. B.J. O'Brien was tied for 27th with a 92-84-79-255. Hansen also shot a 255, carding rounds of 86-85-84.

Chris Hockers was 42nd with a 93-88-90-271, Alex Wagner tied for 43rd with a 90-96-88-274 and Arthur Mueller was tied for 48th with a 94-95-90-279.
