Green Knights Advance to Tenth Consecutive MWC Tournament Championship Match

MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - St. Norbert College advanced to the championship match of the Midwest Conference Tournament for the tenth consecutive year with a 3-1 win over Ripon College at Cornell College's Small Multi-Sport Center.

The Green Knights (13-15) topped the Red Hawks 24-26, 25-19, 25-21, 25-17 to advance to Saturday's championship match against Cornell, which rallied from a 2-0 defiict to beat Grinnell College 3-2.

St. Norbert hit .215 in the match, with 58 kills against 23 errors in 163 attempts. Brooke Siebert led four Green Knights in double-digit kills with 16. Lexie Van Hiel had 12 kills, while Haley Bartz and Halie Ferry had 11 apiece. Emily Rohloff had 26 assists, while Anna Berghoefer had 17 assists.

Jaisah Lee led the back row with 19 digs, while Ferry hadd 14. Van Hiel finished with four blocks, while Ferry and Hanna Strohm had three apiece. Lee also hadded three service aces.

Ripon hit .146 in the match, with 39 kills against 20 errors in 130 attempts. Jonalee Elliott had 14 kills to led the Red Hawks.
