Sanderfoot Paces St. Norbert All-MWC Selections

DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior Madalyn Sanderfoot headlined the four Green Knights named to the All-Midwest Conference Team.

Sanderfoot was named MWC Offensive player of the year, joining fellow juniors Dana Schwab and Monica Stephans on the first team. Sophomore Ally Magiera was selected to the second team.

Sanderfoot, a New London native, led the Midwest Conference in points with 34 and was tied for first in goals with 14. It is her first All-MWC selection.

Schwab, a Milwaukee native, also earned her first All-MWC honor after sharing the conference lead in goals with 14. She added five assists for 33 points and had a team-high three game-winning goals.

Stephans, a Hartford native, was named first-team All-MWC for the third consecutive season. Stephans was third on the team in scoring with seven goals and four assists for 18 points.

Magiera, an Island Lake, Ill., native, was 12-4-3 in goal with a 1.19 goals against average. It is her first All-MWC accolade.

St. Norbert tied for the Midwest Conference regular-season championship at 7-0-2 and finished the season 12-4-3 overall.
