St. Norbert Loses Pair of Matches to End Regular Season

EAU CLAIRE - St. Norbert College finished its regular season with a 6-3 loss to the University of Northwestern-St. Paul and a 9-0 loss to UW-Eau Claire at the Menard Tennis Center.

The matches were the final for the Green Knights before facing Grinnell College in the Midwest Conference Tournament semifinals at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.

Maddie Uhlenbrauck and Claire Hetzel picked up St. Norbert's lone doubles win against Northwestern with an 8-2 triumph over Gracie LeBrun and Mafee Rinta.

Uhlenbrauck also won in singles action with a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Shawna Spears at No. 4. Sofie Koppmann claimed a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Jessica Gross at No. 6.
