Uhlenbrauck Earns MWC Elite 20 Award In Women's Tennis

MADISON - St. Norbert College sophomore Maddie Uhlenbrauck earned the Midwest Conference 2018 Women's Tennis Elite 20 Award at the Midwest Conference Tournament at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

Uhlenbrauck, a sophomore from Appleton, is a business administration/marketing major. The award is given to the student-athlete with the top grade point average of participants at the MWC post-season. Uhlenbrauck is the seventh MWC Elite 20 Award winner thus far for St. Norbert in the 2017-18 academic year.

St. Norbert saw its season end in a 5-1 loss to Grinnell College in a MWC Tournament semifinal.

The Green Knights (15-14) earned their only win at No. 3 doubles. Claire Hetzel and Maddie Uhlenbrauck defeated Sydney Banach and Brenda Guan 9-8 (10-5).

Three matches went unfinished as a dual match is only played to a five-point winner in the post-season.
