Green Knights Claim 10 Winners at Lawrence

APPLETON - St. Norbert College took first place in 10 events as the Green Knights earned the team title of the Lawrence University Invitational at Whiting Field.

The Green Knights totaled 224 points to win the team championship. Lawrence was second with 129 points while Ripon College was third with 103 points.

Nic Greenlaw won both short sprints, turning in a time of 11.25 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 22.69 seconds in the 200-meter dash. Dominic DiBenedetto also won two events with distances of 49 feet 10 1/2 inches in the shot put and 134-3 in the hammer throw. Max Schermacher picked up a pair of field event victories as well, turning in a distance of 146-6 in the javelin throw and a height of 13-7 1/4 in the pole vault.

Andrew LeMay won the 800-meter run in 2:01.01. The 4x100-meter relay of Adam Weigman, Greenlaw, Braxton Thompson and Sam Stelloh took first place with a time of 42.88 seconds.

Ryan Priebe won the high jump at 6-2, while Nathan King claimed the discus throw at 132-9.
