Three Earn All-MWC Mention

DE PERE - St. Norbert College had three softball players selected to the second team of the 2018 All-Midwest Conference team.

Sophomore outfielder Brianna Braeger, sophomore infielder Amanda Diedrich and senior infielder Leigh Grall were all second-team All-MWC choices.

Braeger, a Kaukauna native, hit a team-high .333 this season and posted a team-high by scoring 16 runs. Braeger had four triples along with 17 runs batted in, and struck out just four times in 114 at bats.

Diedrich, a Kaukauna native, hit .293 with three home runs and 20 runs batted in. She hit seven doubles and tied for the team lead in total bases at 47. Diedrich was a first-team All-MWC selection in 2017.

Grall, a Janesville native, hit .237 overall with a team-high nine doubles and had 10 runs batted in. Grall turned in a nifty .991 fielding percentage, making just two errors in 221 chances at first base. Grall was a second-team All-MWC honoree in 2017.
