Green Knights Fall in Four Sets to Carroll

DE PERE - St. Norbert College battled Carroll University but came up just shy in a 3-1 loss in a non-conference match at Mulva Family Fitness & Sports Center. The Pioneers tripped the Green Knights 25-23, 25-20, 21-25, 25-23.

St. Norbert hit .180 for the match, getting 52 kills with 25 errors in 150 attempts. Grace Baumann led the way with 17 kills in 40 attempts, while Halie Ferry had 13 kills in 44 tries. Emily Rohloff had a match-high 29 assists, while Danielle Dolan added 14. Ferry and Haley Bartz had two service aces apiece.

Maddy Miller topped the Green Knights with 19 digs, while Rohloff had 12 digs and Helen Hecht 11. Lexie Van Hiel finished the match with four blocks.

Carroll registered 10 blocks to slow down St. Norbert's offense, with Karley Wolf and Erika Dunnam posting six each. Wolf had a team-high 13 kills for the Pioneers, who hit .189 (50-23-143).
