APPLETON - St. Norbert College junior forward Ben Prange set a school record for points in a game as the Green Knights powered to a 7-0 win over Lawrence University in a Midwest Conference match at The Banta Bowl.

Prange pumped in four goals and added two assists to become the first player in St. Norbert history to score 10 points in a match. His four markers also tied a St. Norbert record, matching Tyler Merkatoris' four goals against Monmouth College on Oct. 25, 2003.

Prange got things started with a goal at the 10:59 mark, followed by a score by Logan Block at 20:49 with an assist to Prange. Prange then followed with goals at 26:04, 35:22 and 35:45 as the Green Knights took a 5-0 lead into halftime.

Block again scored off a feed from Prange, this one at 50:37. Seth Boldt then scored at the 53-minute mark to close out the scoring.

Drake Vandermause also had two assists, while Anthony Masello and Mitchell Scholz each had one.

Prange pushed his career goal total to 42, trailing only Merkatoris' 45 from 2002-05 for the most in school history. He also has 93 career points, which trails only Merkatoris in that category. Merkatoris had 110 points on 45 goals and 20 assists.

St. Norbert outshot Lawrence 42-5 and held a 12-1 edge in penalty kicks. Josh Koleske made one save for St. Norbert, while Hunter Lanton turned away 22 shots for the Vikings.
