Tarsa Paces Green Knights at UW-Eau Claire Invite

COLFAX - St. Norbert College's Graceanne Tarsa led the Green Knights at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational with a 16th-place overall finish at Whitetail Golf Course. St. Norbert finished 14th out of 25 teams.

The Green Knights totaled 361 points. Host Eau Claire won the team title with 80 points, while Carleton College was second with 82 points and Wheaton College was third with 99 points. Eau Claire's Sam Slattery won the 6-kilometer race with a time of 22 minutes 7 seconds. A total of 361 contestants finished.

Tarsa turned in a time of 22:44 for the Green Knights' best showing. Joyana Tarsa finished 73rd with a time of 23:57, while Alex Bruley was 90th with a finish of 24:11.

Elisabeth Klumpyan finished in 138th place with a time of 24:51, while Lauren Talabac was 148th overall in 25:01. Erin Sorg finished 157th in 25:11, and Carolyn Neerdaels was 195th in 25:48.
