Green Knights Drop Five-Setter at Grinnell

GRINNELL, Iowa - St. Norbert College continued Midwest Conference play with a 3-2 loss to Grinnell College at Darby Gym. The Pioneers tripped the Green Knights 14-25, 25-17, 14-25, 25-21, 15-7.

Grinnell had 11 kills against one error in 21 attempts in the decisive fifth set.

St. Norbert hit .151 in the match, with 54 kills and 26 errors in 185 attempts. Grace Baumann and Halie Ferry had 15 kills apiece, while Lexie Van Hiel had 13 kills. Danielle Dolan had 22 assists and Emily Rohloff 16 assists.

Baumann posted a match-high 26 digs, while Jaisah Lee added 22 digs. Ferry and Rohloff registered double-doubles with 14 and 13 assists, respectively. Van Hiel had six blocks and Haley Bartz three blocks.

Grinnell hit .158 for the match, getting 52 kills against 23 errors in 183 swings. Kaylin Kuhn had a team-high 18 kills.
