St. Norbert Places Sixth at MWC Championship

NORTH CHICAGO, Ill. - St. Norbert College finished in sixth place at the Midwest Conference Championship for the fifth consecutive year at the 8-kilometer race held at Foss Park.

The Green Knights totaled 147 points. Cornell College won the team title with 36 points, while Grinnell College was second with 74 points. St. Norbert was 32 points out of fifth place behind Lawrence University, which had 115 points. Lawrence's Josh Janusiak won his third consecutive MWC individual title with a time of 24:49.

Matt Holloway was St. Norbert's lone All-MWC honoree, finishing in 14th place with a time of 26:34.

Joe Gasick finished just outside of All-MWC status, placing 22nd with a time of 27:!4. Evan McVittie finished in 34th place with a time of 27:38, while Anthony Tellier was 38th in 27:44.

Ben Behling placed 41st in 27:48, while Ethan Sowel was 45th in 27:59. Peyton Janto rounded out St. Norbert's top seven finishers by finishing in 47th place with a time of 28:07.
