Martin, Stolberg Lead St. Norbert Past Beloit

DE PERE - St. Norbert College's Peter Martin and Ben Stolberg won every event they swam in as the Green Knights went on to post a 155-106 win over Beloit College at Mulva Pool.

Martin won three individual events and was on one relay, while Stolberg won two individual events and was on both relays.

Martin won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:06.41 and the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:09.36. Martin also won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:07.80, finishing in first place by just over 1 minute 33 seconds.

Stolberg won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:52.14, finishing in front by about 26 1/2 seconds. He also won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 49.61 seconds.

The 200-yard medley relay of Jed Galutira, Martin, Stolberg and Grant Gibson won with a time of 1:19.92, about 27 seconds in front. The 200-yard freestyle relay of Gibson, Jeffrey Green, Galutira and Stolberg won with a time of 1:30.87.

Galutira added an individual-event win with a time of 57.75 seconds in the 100-yard backstroke, clipping the next-closest finisher by 0.02 seconds.
