Balance Leads to Win at St. Norbert Twlight

DE PERE - St. Norbert College scored in 16 of 20 events as the Green Knights won the St. Norbert Twilight at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights won with a team score of 147 1/2 points, while Wisconsin Lutheran College was second with 104 points.

St. Norbert recorded six first-place finishes. Noah Kleiman won the 110-meter hurdles in 16.12 seconds and the high jump at 6 feet 3/4 inches. The 4x400-meter relay won with a time of 3:40.03.

Jaxsen and Max Schermacher tied for the win in the pole vault with a height of 13-7 1/4. Michael DeGroot took the 200-meter dash in 23.28 seconds. Samuel Fletcher won the triple jump in 42-9 3/4 and was second in the long jump at 21-6 1/4. Fletcher added a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:00.97.

Max Schermacher was second in the javelin throw at 148-8, followed by Ryan Priebe in fourth place at 134-5, Gabriel Golubeff in sixth at 127-7 and Ethan Sowl in eighth place at 120-8. Priebe was second in the 200-meter dash in 23.32 seconds, while Jon Gregory was fourth in 23.72 seconds. Gregory was sixth in the 100-meter dash in 11.79 seconds.

Ben Behling was third in the 1,500-meter run in 4:20.56, while Sowl was seventh in 4:31.90. Braxton Thompson was third in the triple jump at 41-1 and seventh in the 100-meter dash in 11.89 seconds.

Tyler Lemens was fifth in the long jump at 19-11 3/4, while Eric Herman was fifth in the shot put at 41-3 3/4. Lucas Nolan finished sixth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:06.33, while Golubeff was sixth in the hammer throw at 93-4. Gabriel Olsen was sixth in the 5,000-meter run in 16:55.64.

Kleiman added a seventh-place finish in the 400-meter dash in 54.15 seconds and was tied for eighth in the pole vault at 11-7 3/4.
