Maastricht Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

DE PERE - St. Norbert College junior outfielder Jack Maastricht has been named to the Google Cloud NCAA Division III Baseball Academic All-District VI team, presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Maastricht, a Sun Prairie native, carries a 3.88 grade point average while double majoring in economics and mathematics. Maastricht enjoyed a stellar season for the Green Knights, hitting .345 while posting team-highs with 16 doubles, four home runs with 31 runs batted in and 84 total bases. Maastricht's 16 doubles are tied for third-most in a season in St. Norbert history.

To be eligible for national or district selection, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.0, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director. The Academic All-America team, scheduled to be announced June 4, is selected after All-District teams are picked from eight geographic regions nationally. All first-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Academic All-America ballot.
