DE PERE - St. Norbert College improved to 3-1 on the season with a solid 2-0 non-conference win over Milwaukee School of Engineering on a damp night at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights and Raiders (2-1-1) played evenly for about the first 20 minutes of the match before getting a pair of goals before halftime.

Caden Etzel scored his first collegiate goal in impressive fashion, ripping a strong shot from about 20 yards out that tucked in just underneath the crossbar for a 1-0 lead at the 27:10 mark. Max Censky was credited with the assist. Ben Prange then added to the Green Knights' lead with an impressive tough-angle shot from along the goal line just 1:17 before halftime for his second goal of the season. Anthony Pineda got the assist.

Neither team could find the goal in a second half that featured more physical play than the first 45 minutes. The Raiders had 15 fouls in the match to St. Norbert's 12, with each team recording nine in the second half.

St. Norbert, which had 58 percent of the possession time, outshot the Raiders 13-7 and held a whopping 10-2 edge in corner kicks. Matt Pilewski made four saves for the Green Knights, while Ron Marchionna made one for MSOE.
