St. Norbert Finishes Ninth at MSOE Invitational

LAKE GENEVA - St. Norbert College finished ninth out of 16 teams at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational at Grand Geneva Resort.

The Green Knights totaled a 317-300--617 over the 36 holes. Edgewood College won the team title with a 296-292--588. The University of Dubuque's Garvin Paper was the medalist with a 71-71--142. A total of 83 golfers competed.

St. Norbert's second-day round of 300 was its lowest since recording a 299 on the third day of the Midwest Conference Championship on May 5, 2018.

Jack Markham finished in a tie for 11th place with a 79-70--149. Markham's second-round score of 70 was the first round of 70 since Luke Bourneuf shot that score this past May 3 at the MWC Championship.

Jack Lund, Ian Tisonik and Cole Hanke all tied for 44th place, each totaling 156. Lund shot 80-77, while Tisonik and Hanke each posted rounds of 79-77. Dale Sinclair finished in 58th place with scores of 80-80--160.
