Riley Breaks Own School Record at Carthage Invitational

KENOSHA - St. Norbert College freshman Killian Riley turned in a new school record as the Green Knights finished the first day of the Carthage College Classic at Koenitzer Aquatic Center.

Swimming the first leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay, Riley finished with a time of 1:46.97 to break his own previous school record of 1:47.07. Teaming with Matt Trotter, Sam Martin and Alex Cervantez, the quartet finished fifth in the relay with an overall time of 7:25.51.

In the other event contested on the first day of the meet, Ray Scribano finished 11th to lead the Green Knights in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:23.16.

The Green Knights continue with the second of three days at the Carthage Classic at 9 a.m. Friday.
