St. Norbert Romps Past Pioneers

DE PERE - St. Norbert College returned to Mulva Pool in a big way, cruising past Carroll University 217-21 in a non-conference dual meet. The Green Knights won all 16 events contested.

Ben Stolberg set a St. Norbert and Mulva Pool record in the 100-yard backstroke, posting a time of 54.84 seconds.

Stolberg was on the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relays. Stolberg teamed with Killian Riley, Wayne King and Matt Trotter on the 200 medley with a time of 1:40.51. He also was part of the 400 freestyle quartet with Peter Martin, King and Jeffrey Green to post a time of 3:26.58.

Riley won the 200-yard individual medley (2:06.73) and 500-yard freestyle (5:01.41). King claimed the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.41) and 100-yard butterfly (53.91). Trotter won the 50-yard freestyle (22.62) and 100-yard freestyle (50.51). Will Bethard also won the two 1-meter diving events with scores of 119.35 and 91.65.

Jared Ashburn won the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:19.38, while Sam Martin took the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:26.71. Peter Martin finished first in the 200-yard butterfly in 2:09.37, while Alex Cervantez won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:58.43. Ray Scribano finished the 1,000-yard freestyle in 10:45.58.
