Green Knights Battle at High-Powered UW-Whitewater Meet

WHITEWATER - St. Norbert College turned in some solid performances against top-notch competition at the UW-Whitewater Squig Converse Invitational at Kachel Fieldhouse.

Competing against several Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference schools and many other solid Midwest Region teams, the Green Knights had six finishers place in the top eight of an event.

The 4x200-meter relay of Daniel Fenn, Bright Boachie, Robert Tetzlaff and Samuel Fletcher finished second with a time of 1:34.20. Gregory Bernasek, Aaron Gonnering, Isaac Blakeslee and James McKnight finished fourth in the event with a time of 1:38.23.

Jaxsen Schermacher finished in a tie for second place in the pole vault with a height of 15 feet 0 1/4 inches.

Oren Kestell placed third in the high jump with a leap of 6-5, followed by Robby Cicciarelli in a tie for seventh place with a clearance of 6-1 1/4.

Lorenz Jordan finished eighth in the 1-mile run with a time of 4:35.76.
