Bates Named First-Team AHCA All-American

GLOUCESTER, Mass. - St. Norbert College junior forward Peter Bates has been named to the first team of the Division II-III CCM American Hockey Coaches Association All-America Team, announced today by the AHCA.

Bates, an Evanston, Ill., native, earned his first All-America honor after enjoying a banner season. In 29 games, Bates scored 15 goals and 25 assists for 40 points. Bates' point total tied for the most in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. In 92 career games, Bates has 37 goals and 62 assists for 99 points.

St. Norbert now has 37 first-team AHCA All-America selections, and has had at least one first-team All-America honoree for 23 consecutive years - extending its Division III record.
