Al Johnson

Offensive Coordinator

Al Johnson, a seven-year NFL veteran and standout Wisconsin Badger, is in his second year on the St. Norbert football staff and in his first season as offensive coordinator.

Johnson, a Brussels native who was all-state at Southern Door High School, played for three NFL teams at guard and center from 2004-08. Johnson was a second-round draft choice (38th overall) by the Dallas Cowboys in 2003. He played in 48 games, starting 31, with the Cowboys from 2004-06. Johnson played and started in 14 games with the Arizona Cardinals in 2007 and played in four games with the Miami Dolphins in 2008.

Johnson was a three-year starter at Wisconsin. As a senior captain, he was a second-team All-Big Ten selection and earned third-team All-America honors from The Sporting News. Johnson was honorable mention All-Big Ten as a sophomore and junior.
