Schedule of Events

Commencement 2018 will take place on Sunday, May 13. The schedule of events is as follows:

9:15 a.m.
Baccalaureate Mass
A festive celebration of music, word and sacrament. All are welcome!

Mulva Family Fitness and Sports Center
10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Commencement Brunch
The Commencement brunch is open to all graduates, parents, guests, faculty members and administrators. Tickets are $13.75 including tax for adults and St. Norbert grads, and $8.75 for children ages 5 through 12. Children 4 and under are free, but registration is still required. Reservations are required and limited to 1,100 guests. Tickets are now available through the SNC Ticket Office.
Michels Commons Dining Room and Upstairs Ballroom

1:30-3:30 p.m.
(Approximately two hours)

Note: Anyone entering MFFSC for the commencement ceremony must have a ticket. Each graduate receives four tickets.

Open seating begins at noon. We ask that everyone be seated by 1:20 p.m.

 

Commencement Ceremony

The Procession
The Commencement procession will enter from the back of the arena promptly at 1:30 p.m. in the following order:
  • ROTC Color Guard
  • Faculty
  • Masters (Graduates)
  • Seniors (Graduates)
  • St. Norbert College Trustees
  • Ceremony Participants
Graduates enter in the following order:
Master’s, BA, BBA, BM, BS and BSN 

For exiting, the ceremony participants will leave first, followed by the faculty and the new St. Norbert College alumni. 

Student Speaker
The 2018 student speaker will be determined in early April.

Commencement Speaker
The 2018 commencement speaker will be Dr. John R. Raymond Sr., president and CEO of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

3:30 p.m. Commencement Reception
A reception will be held to honor all of our new St. Norbert College alumni following the Commencement ceremony.
