Loved ones will be remembered on All Souls' Day

On All Souls' Day, the St. Norbert College community will gather in prayer to remember those who have gone before us, marked with the sign of faith.

The Mass will be celebrated in Old St. Joseph Church at 12:20 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2. Throughout the day, the members of the Norbertine community of St. Joseph Priory will keep our deceased alumni in thought and prayer during the Liturgy of Hours.

In the spirit of memory and hope, we invite you to offer the names of your loved ones to be remembered at this liturgy. Please forward their names to us. (In keeping with the Norbertine principles of common prayer and the forming of community, we ask you not to include an offering with your request.)

Whether you attend in person or spirit, please know you will be kept in our thoughts and prayers.

"Prayer for a loved one is, for the believer, a way of erasing any distance, even death," said the Rev. Leonard Foley, O.F.M. "In prayer we stand in God's presence in the company of someone we love, even if that person has gone before us into death."
