Lauren March

AmeriCorps 2017-18: Cassandra Voss Center Program Manager and Volunteer Coordinator

B.A., St. Norbert College

Lauren March graduated summa sum laude from St. Norbert College with a degree in theology & religious studies and minors in philosophy and music. Lauren worked as the theology & religious studies teaching assistant in an effort to be more involved with the department, aiding professors in their research, writing and editing. Lauren has spent time working with both SNC students and alumni as an academic tutor and a representative for SNC's annual Phonathon.

During her time as an undergraduate, Lauren enjoyed being involved in the music department. She studied voice privately while also participated in concert band, jazz band, concert choir and Chamber Singers. True to the way of the liberal arts, Lauren further studied language, philosophy and world religions at Florence University of the Arts during her semester abroad in Florence, Italy. Lauren’s experience studying in a different culture is what inspired her to continue studying identity with the Cassandra Voss Center.

Beginning the 2017-2018 school year in the AmeriCorps position as the Cassandra Voss Center Program Manager & Volunteer Coordinator, Lauren looks forward to working with the innovative staff and volunteers associated with the center. She is dedicated to forming a space where students and community members are encouraged to share ideas freely in a creative environment.
