Scholarship Calculator

There’s more to you than your GPA and test scores, and we consider the “whole you” for admission and scholarship. But to give you an estimate on possible academic merit awards (just one type of award available for students), follow these simple steps.

Step One: Determine Your GPA
Take your core courses throughout high school (English, math, social science, science, religion and foreign language). Add up the number of A’s, B’s, C’s, etc. Give yourself points for each grade: A=4, B=3, C=2 and D=1. Take the total and divide by the number of core courses. The resulting number is your GPA.

Step Two: Determine Your Standardized Test Composite
If you have taken the ACT or SAT one time, use that number. If you have taken it more than once, take the best score of each section to create a new composite.

Step Three: Determine Your Merit Award
Enter your GPA and test score into the calculator below and click submit to find an estimate of your merit award amount.

ACT/SAT test scores are optional for students applying to St. Norbert College for the 2021-22 academic year; select “N/A” when completing your entry. ACT/SAT requirements for the 2022-23 academic year will be evaluated as conditions surrounding COVID-19 change.

Step Four: Identify Other Aid
Remember that a merit award is just one part of the aid available to attend college. You may be eligible for a variety of federal, state and St. Norbert College financial aid programs. However, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be submitted to determine your eligibility.
