Tanner Anderson

Area Coordinator
LGBTQ+ Support Services Coordinator 

Tanner joined the Residential Education & Housing team in June 2018 as the Victor McCormick (VMC) Hall and Gries Hall Area Coordinator. He supervises a staff of six Resident Assistants and one Community Assistant. While overseeing general operations within VMC and Gries, he works to build and maintain a safe and supportive environment for all residents to learn and connect with others. 

Prior to St. Norbert College, Tanner received his master’s in higher education student affairs with a certificate in social justice education from Iowa State University, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Colorado State University. While attending ISU, Tanner served as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Student Financial Aid and Leadership Studies Program, in addition to interning with Family and Transfer Student Orientation Programs at Dominican University. He has focused much of his work on supporting students as they experience University life, as well as increasing access to and within higher education for all students and their families. 

Tanner is originally from Steamboat Springs, Colo. and has a passion for all things people, travel and music-oriented.
