First-Year Summer Orientation

The true college experience doesn't happen just in the classroom. It happens on your way to Ruth’s Marketplace with your friends. It happens during a study session with your floormates.

It happens while you’re up late having a heart-to-heart with your roommate. It’s what happens when you live on campus. That’s why St. Norbert offers a four-year residential college experience.

2021 Move-in Dates
Move-in times will be based on social distancing and COVID-19 guidelines. Specific times will be announced at a later date.

  • Wednesday, Aug. 25 – Bergstrom Honors students
  • Thursday, Aug. 26 – First-Year students

Housing Policies
First-year students are expected to be familiar with the housing policies before the start of the academic year. Policies include the housing agreement, residency requirement, and residential living guidelines.

Diversity and Inclusion Statement
Diversity and inclusion is very important at SNC, as the Catholic tradition calls us to “uphold the sacred dignity of all persons,” the Norbertine tradition calls us to “respond to the needs of our local and global communities,” and the Liberal Arts tradition calls us to hold “dialogue with diverse cultures, perspectives and beliefs.”

Within our four-year residential community, we encourage:

  • Treating each other with respect and human dignity
  • Humility, empathy, and patience
  • Challenging assumptions
  • Expanding comfort zones
  • Open dialogue/communication
  • Community responsibility
  • Embracing difference
