Mexican Food & Film Cultural Workshop
Instructor Jen Holtebeck will lead a lively discussion about Mexican culinary and cinematic traditions while students dine on Mexican food and enjoy a Mexican film.
The menu tentatively includes:
Pico de gallo in cucumber cups and pork mole in tortilla cup
Black bean vegetarian lasagna: black beans, chilies, red pepper, and corn layered with corn tortillas topped with enchilada sauce and Monterey jack cheese.
Served with rice pilaf, zucchini blend, and spinach salad with orange poppyseed vinaigrette
Mango custard tart with melba sauce
More About the Instructor
Jen Holtebeck graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish education. She has nine years of experience teaching high school and middle school Spanish, levels I-IV, and has traveled in Mexico and Spain. Holtebeck is currently a stay-at-home mom in De Pere, where she lives with her husband and two daughters, when she's not teaching Spanish at St. Norbert.
