Christine Moeller

Information Literacy and Instruction Librarian

Christine joined the Mulva Library at the beginning of 2017 as the Information Literacy and Instruction librarian. Previously she was the Instructional Design Librarian at Luther College, where she also taught in the two-semester sequence for first-year students, and served on the Moodle support team. Christine’s educational background in instructional design and critical information literacy pedagogy informs her approach to librarianship and library instruction.

As the Information Literacy and Instruction Librarian, Christine collaborates with faculty and other campus partners to facilitate students’ development of critical thinking and inquiry abilities. She assists with assignment design, develops customized library instruction sessions, and creates learning objects related to critical thinking and information literacy.

Her other interests include video games (especially RPGs and Rock Band), board games, anime, origami, knitting and sewing, and playing with her two cats.
