Course Description
This course will be an examination of Jane Austen's six major novels in the context of the transition from the Eighteenth-Century's "Age of Reason" to the Nineteenth-Century's "Age of Romanticism".

Required Book List
This course will require the Penguin individual paperback editions of the following Jane Austen Novels:
    • Northanger Abbey
    • Sense and Sensibility
    • Pride and Prejudice
    • Mansfield Park
    • Persuasion
    • Emma
    • There will also be a required bound collection of excerpts that will be for sale at the St. Norbert College Bookstore only.
