St. Norbert College's Health and Wellness Center and Colleges Against Cancer will host award-winning country music artist Kevin Sharp for the second annual Men's Health Forum March 5 from 7-9 p.m. in the Ray Van Den Heuvel Campus Center.

The event, titled "Friends, Family, and Faith: Hope Through Survivorship," is free and open to the public.

Sharp, who has earned such accolades as "Favorite New Country Artist" from the American Music Awards and Country Music Television's "Rising Male Video Star of the Year," will perform at the event and speak on his experience with cancer between songs. He is the national spokesman for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

In addition to Sharp, St. Norbert College junior John Barrett will speak on his experience dealing with his father's cancer and Fr. Sal Cuccia will talk about surviving cancer.

Several groups, representing both St. Norbert College and outside organizations, will have tables set up to present health information. Various cancer screenings will be available to participants. Donations will benefit local cancer organizations.
