The St. Norbert College Music Department will present a Choral MasterWorks Concert on Sunday, March 8 at 3:00 p.m. in the Walter Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts. Admission is $7 and open to the public.
The concert will feature the St. Norbert College Chamber Singers, directed by Kent Paulsen, visiting instructor of music. The choir will be accompanied on piano by Elaine Moss, instructor of music, and by a chamber orchestra.

The concert marks a celebration of the 200th anniversary of the death of Franz Joseph Haydn. The Chamber Singers will perform great choral masterworks of the Classical Era, including works by Mozart, Beethoven and Haydn, himself. Several St. Norbert music faculty members will also perform, including Moss, who will be featured as a special guest piano soloist for "Beethoven's Choral Fantasy"; soprano Yi-Lan (Elaine) Niu, assistant professor of music and voice; and baritone Michael Rosewall, associate professor of music and voice. Both Niu and Rosewall will be featured in Haydn's "Lord Nelson Mass."
