St. Norbert College Army ROTC cadets commissioned as officers

The following St. Norbert College students will be commissioned as second lieutenants in the United States Army during ceremonies held in the Fort Howard Theater, Bemis International Center, Saturday, May 16, at 4 p.m.
Casey Voss of Campbellsport, Wis.,will be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, in the branch of medical service. Upon successful completion of the Basic Officers Leaders Course at Fort Benning, Ga., 2nd Lt. Voss will be assigned as a medical evacuation pilot with the 832nd Medical Company in Waukesha, Wis.
Daniel Ward of Oconto Falls, Wis.,will be commissioned as second lieutenant in the U.S. Army active duty as an infantry officer. Upon successful completion of the Basic Officers Leaders Course at Fort Sill, Okla., the Infantry Officers Basic Course and Ranger School, Ward will be assigned as a rifle platoon leader in the 3rd Infantry Division at Fort Stewart, Ga.
William Hansinger of Hartford, Wis., will be commissioned in December as a second lieutenant in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as an artillery officer. Upon successful completion of the Basic Officers Leaders Course and Field Artillery Officers Basic Course at Fort Sill, Okla., Hansinger will be assigned as a platoon leader for A Battery, 1st.
