It's being billed as a Saturday of magic with families in mind and the star of the show is magician, author and teacher Bruce Hetzler of Appleton, Wis.
Hetzler will perform two shows on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1 and 3 p.m. at St. Norbert College's intimate Webb Theatre in the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts.

Hetzler grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where he learned magic under the guidance of St. Louis magicians Don Lawton, Bev Taylor and Gene DeVoe. Beginning with children's birthday parties, he rapidly expanded his performing venues to include schools, churches, and company picnics. At age 17, he gave a performance on the local Corky the Clown television show, and shortly thereafter began performing on the excursion riverboats Becky Thatcher and Huck Finn. After moving to Appleton, Wis., he began performing table-side magic at local restaurants, and also established himself as a sought after corporate performer, but he still has the most fun performing for family audiences. All seats are $6. For tickets to either show you can order online at http://tickets.snc.edu or call the St. Norbert College box office 920-403-3950 or 800-762 2699. For directions to the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts building, see campus map at http://www.snc.edu/map.
