The Dudley Birder Chorale to hold auditions at St. Norbert College

The Dudley Birder Chorale of St. Norbert College is accepting new members for the 2009-2010 concert season. Rehearsals will be held Wednesday evenings from 7-9:30 p.m. in the St. Norbert College Hall of Fine Arts rehearsal room beginning Sept. 9.

If you're interested in joining, call director Dudley Birder at 403-3114 or at dudley.birder@snc.edu to schedule an audition.

The chorale is comprised of 150 members who reside in Door, Outagamie, Shawano, Oconto and Brown Counties. Those auditioning should have previous chorale experience as well as minimal sight singing ability.

The Dudley Birder Chorale concert season is as follows:

October 30
The annual All Saints Day program featuring Vivaldi's "Beatus Vir" and John Rutter's "Requiem" -- St. Norbert College Walter Theatre -- $20 Rows A-U, $15 Rows V-Z -- 7:30 p.m.

December 11 and 12
"Holiday Pops" with the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra -- Weidner Center -- 7:30 p.m.

March 7
"Requiem" by Maurice Durufle -- St. Norbert Abbey Church -- 7:30 p.m.

May 14 and 15
"America Sings" -- St. Norbert College Walter Theatre -- 7:30 p.m.
