The St. Norbert College theatre studies program has announced two productions for the 2009-10 school year, to be performed in the Webb Theatre, Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts on campus.

The fall production will be "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare.

The show will be directed by St. Norbert College assistant professor of theatre studies Stephen Rupsch, and with scenography by assistant professor April Beiswenger.
Much of the plot of "Twelfth Night" revolves around mistaken identities and unrequited love, but the play further enlivened by the comic sub-plot of the considerable machinations of memorable characters like Sir Toby Belch and the pretentious Malvolio. "Twelfth Night" will consist of an all-women cast.
"Twelfth Night" will be staged Nov. 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. Tickets went on sale Sept. 2. Prices are $12 for section 200-400, $10 for sections 100 and 500 and $7 for non-St. Norbert College students, for both productions

The spring production will be "Book of Days" by Lanford Wilson. St. Norbert College welcomes back professor emeritus Kelly Collum to direct. Assistant professor April Beiswenger will head up the design for the production.
When murder roars through a small Missouri town, Ruth Hoch begins her own quest to find truth and honesty amid small-town jealousies, religion, greed and lies. This tornado of a play propels you through its events like a page-turning mystery.

The show will be held April 16, 17, 22, 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. and April 18 at 2.p.m. Tickets for "Book of Days" go on sale Jan. 27, 2010.
